Strengthen the Home-to-School Connection With Parent Access

New Parent Portal Updates

Parent involvement is crucial to student success, and at Learning A-Z, we understand how important it is for parents to be connected to their child’s education. The updated Kids A-Z Parent Portal now makes it easy for parents to monitor their child’s progress for all Learning A-Z products to which the child has access, and ensures that students, parents, and educators are all working toward common goals.

What Is It?

The newly revised Parent Portal is a centralized area within Kids A-Z that parents can use to monitor their child's progress, send messages to their child, check on the latest book or activity their child has completed, or review their child’s average quiz scores.

Where Is It?

Teachers can easily sign up parents from the Roster page in the Kids A-Z management hub with just an email address. Simply click on a student’s name, then enter the email address on the Parent Access tab.

Alternatively, parents can request access by going to kidsa-z.com, logging in as their child, clicking on the Parents link, and completing the Parent Access Request form:

Once registered, parents can go to KidsA-Z.com and click on “Parent” to log in:

How Do Parents Use It?

Parents can use the portal to monitor their child’s activity and view reports for all Learning A-Z products to which their child has access.

In addition, parents can set up activity alerts on a weekly or monthly basis and send encouraging messages to their child.

By creating more visibility into what their child is doing in school so parents can be more engaged with what is being practiced at home, the Parent Portal provides an effective tool for teachers to use to strengthen the home-to-school connection.
