Special Education Literacy Coach
Rachel Beiswanger serves as a K-12 reading specialist in special education. She works directly with students as an interventionist and leads literacy initiatives to implement evidence-based practices at her school in Upstate NY. She holds a master of education in reading and has been an educator for 13 years. In addition to teaching, Rachel offers professional development for educators and schools across the U.S. around implementing evidence-based literacy instruction. Rachel is passionate about helping educators bridge research to practice. She believes that prevention is the key to ending the literacy crisis.
