Tasha Fisher is an award-winning, special education teacher in Chicago, Illinois who keeps community building, classroom equity, and honoring her students’ individual strengths and experiences at the core of her teaching.
Tasha is the recipient of a 2022 Cambium Learning Group Essential Educator Award for her commitment to forming and strengthening relationships with her students and their families, fostering an inclusive classroom, and instilling a growth mindset in all of her students.
