With the March 2018 issue of Science in the News, students can follow the most recent stories making an impact in the world of science. This issue includes an article about engineers who are working to develop an edible replacement to plastic. Students have the opportunity to conduct a “litter survey” to determine if edible food wrappers could help reduce waste in their area.
