We are all marvelous, and during this time of year, it’s easy to see! As students and their families reflect on what they’re thankful for, this appreciation often extends to the classroom and beyond. We invite you and your classroom to join the marvelous movement! Keep reading to learn more...
This Spring, we partnered with UNICEF Kid Power to create the Learning A-Z and UNICEF Kid Power Classroom Challenge. This challenge gave students and their classrooms the opportunity to help and appreciate others by donating the stars they earned to provide meals and clean water to families in need around the world. The response was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, through their hard work this year, students were able to provide 255,395 healthy meals to families in the U.S. and more than 1.62 million days of clean water to communities around the globe. That’s huge!
As a prize, the classroom with the most donations won the opportunity to co-author an original book with Learning A-Z titled We Are Marvelous! We are thrilled to share this student-authored book with you now to share and inspire your students:
We Are Marvelous
Read We Are Marvelous! with your students, written by the 3rd grade class of Rachel Paterson and Sako Kawabata at Kori Nevers Gakuin Elementary School in Japan, winner of the spring 2021 Learning A-Z Classroom Challenge in collaboration with UNICEF Kid Power.
